On November 19, 2019, Laura Fernández-Álvarez, Assistant Dean of Moritz College of Law, Ohio State University, and Sun Yi, a Chinese affairs liasion officer, visited Civil, Commercial and Economic Law School and held a LL.M. Program Talk.
Deputy Dean Yang Xiuqing met guests at Xueyuan Road Campus. She warmly welcomed the visit of Fernández-Álvarez and Sun Yi, and happily reviewed the visit of the delegation from Civil, Commercial and Economic Law School to the Moritz College of Law in September this year, and began the promotion and implementation of the cooperation agreement signed in the past two months between the two colleges. Fernández-Álvarez thanked CCELS for the warm reception and stated that Moritz College of Law values and looks forward to in-depth cooperation with CCELS. During the talks, the two parties discussed the next stage of cooperation on developing international curriculum and jointly hosting international academic seminars. The two sides reached a consensus thereon. Also attending the talks were Wu Rihuan, a professor of the Fiscal, Tax and Finance Law Institute , Wang Yong, a professor of the Commercial Law Institute, Sun Yang, an Associate Professor of the Intellectual Property Law Institute, and Yan Jingjing, Director of the CCELS Foreign Affairs Office.

During the LL. M. Program Talks, Fernández-Álvarez showed students the scenery and infrastructure of Ohio State University by power point, and introduced the basic situation at Columbus, where Ohio State University is located, and highlighted the faculty strength, professional orientation, curriculum setting, and credit requirements of LL.M. Program at the College. She said that the French University and the Ohio State University have had a friendly and cooperative relationship for many years, and the Moritz College of Law welcomes students to the Ohio State University for further studies. Later, Sun Yi introduced the LL.M. Program application process, scholarship amount, enrollment quota and other information to the students. The two lecturers also patiently answered the questions raised by students and achieved good interactive results.
